CVSS v3.1 |
| The NXP LPUART serial driver (drivers/serial/uart_mcux_lpuart.c), when CONFIG_UART_USE_RUNTIME_CONFIGURE is enabled, called LPUART_Deinit() at the start of mcux_lpuart_configure(), which disables the LPUART peripheral clocks. The requested configuration is validated only afterwards (in mcux_lpuart_configure_basic), and unsupported parity/data-bit/stop-bit/flow-control values return -ENOTSUP before the clock is re-enabled.
As a result, a uart_configure() request with an unsupported configuration left the LPUART in a clock-disabled state; any subsequent access to LPUART registers (poll_out/poll_in, interrupt handling, or a later reconfigure) faults on the gated peripheral and escalates to a hard fault, crashing the system.
uart_configure() is a Zephyr syscall whose verifier (z_vrfy_uart_configure) only checks that cfg is readable user memory and forwards the caller-supplied configuration unchanged, so an unprivileged userspace thread with access to an LPUART device can deterministically trigger the fault, a persistent system-wide denial of service.
Introduced in v2.5.0 and present in all subsequent releases until this fix, which removes the LPUART_Deinit() call and instead only disables the transmitter/receiver, leaving the clock running. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bridge: Fix sleep in atomic context in netlink path
Since the introduction of the netlink configuration path for bridge
ports in commit 25c71c75ac87 ("bridge: bridge port parameters over
netlink"), br_setport() was always called with the bridge lock held
around it. Back then this decision made sense: The bridge lock protects
the STP state of the bridge and its ports and at that time the function
only processed three STP related netlink attributes (cost, priority and
state).
Nowadays, br_setport() processes a lot more attributes and most of them
do not need the bridge lock:
* Bridge flags: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path.
Annotations can be added in net-next.
* FDB port flushing: Only requires the FDB lock.
* Multicast attributes: Only require the multicast lock.
* Group forward mask: Only requires RTNL. Read locklessly by the data
path. Annotations can be added in net-next.
* Backup port and NHID: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data
path.
This is a problem as the bridge calls dev_set_promiscuity() when certain
bridge port flags change and this function can sleep since the commit
cited below, resulting in a splat such as [1].
Fix this by reducing the scope of the bridge lock and only take it when
processing the three STP related attributes that require it. This is
consistent with the multicast attributes where each attribute acquires
the multicast lock instead of having one critical section for all
relevant attributes.

| A flaw was found in the QEMU Guest Agent (qga). A local unprivileged user can exploit a vulnerability in the guest-ssh-add-authorized-keys command handler by manipulating symbolic links. This can occur either through a deterministic directory-symlink bypass or a Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) file-symlink race. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to gain ownership of arbitrary root-owned files or directories, leading to root access. This vulnerability requires an external management layer (e.g., libvirt) to trigger the affected code path. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in django-oauth django-oauth-toolkit 3.3.0. This issue affects the function _load_id_token of the file oauth2_provider/oauth2_validators.py. The manipulation leads to session expiration. The attack can be initiated remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix driver-set TX rates on old devices
On old devices such as 7265D, rates are still encoded in version 1
format, which doesn't use the CCK/OFDM rate index (0-3/0-7) but
rather their PLCP value (e.g. 10 for 1 Mbps CCK rate.)
While introducing v3 rates, I changed the driver from internally
handling v1 rates and converting to v2, to internally handling v3
and converting to v1 or v2 according to the firmware. I accordingly
changed the code in iwl_mvm_mac80211_idx_to_hwrate() to no longer
have different values for different APIs. This was correct.
However, I later reverted this part of the change, because it was
reported that I had broken beacon rates, causing a FW assert/crash.
This caused TX_CMD rates to be set incorrectly, potentially causing
a warning when reported back from the device as having been used.
Fix this (hopefully correctly now) by handling beacon rates in the
TX_CMD that's embedded in the beacon template command separately.
Restore iwl_mvm_mac80211_idx_to_hwrate() to return only the rate
index, not PLCP value, fixing the real TX_CMD. |
| WireGuard Easy through 15.3.0, fixed in commit 66b292b, contains a cryptographically weak one-time link token generation vulnerability that allows unauthenticated network attackers to recover WireGuard peer credentials by brute-forcing a keyspace of at most 1000 candidate tokens per client ID, as the token is computed using CRC32 over a random value constrained to 0-999. Attackers can enumerate candidate tokens against the unauthenticated /cnf/:oneTimeLink route, which lacks rate limiting and does not validate token expiration, to obtain a peer's PrivateKey and PresharedKey and impersonate that peer on the VPN network. |
| bt_sdp_parse_attribute() in subsys/bluetooth/host/classic/sdp.c validated only that the SDP record buffer held the type-marker byte plus the 2-byte attribute ID (a check of buf->len < 3) but then read a fourth byte, the data-element descriptor (type), via net_buf_simple_pull_u8(). Because net_buf_simple_pull_u8() dereferences buf->data[0] before its only bounds guard (an __ASSERT_NO_MSG that compiles out when CONFIG_ASSERT is disabled, the production default), a record of exactly three bytes (0x09 followed by a 2-byte attribute ID) causes a one-byte read past the end of the logical buffer. The parser is reachable from inbound, remote-controlled data: a Bluetooth BR/EDR peer acting as an SDP server returns discovery-response records that are stored verbatim in the client receive buffer and parsed via the public bt_sdp_get_attr()/bt_sdp_has_attr()/bt_sdp_record_parse() helpers. The over-read is bounded to a single byte that is used only as an internal length selector and is never leaked to the attacker; subsequent length checks then reject the malformed record. Realistic impact is therefore limited to an edge-case denial of service (a fault only if the record ends exactly at a mapped-memory boundary, or a deterministic assert panic when CONFIG_ASSERT=y). Affects Zephyr v4.3.0 and v4.4.0; fixed by adding sizeof(type) to the length check. |
| Quicly is an IETF QUIC protocol implementation intended primarily for use within the H2O HTTP server. Prior to commit 937d0e9, an assertion failure is raised when the total number of valid handshake messages received over a CRYPTO stream of a single packet number space exceeds 32KB, causing a Denial of Service. This issue has been fixed by commit 937d0e9. |
| An issue was discovered in cyrus-imapd in Cyrus IMAP through 3.12.2. URLAUTH does not honor revoked authorizer access. A URLAUTH URL minted while the authorizer had access continued to work after that access was revoked. |
| PlaywrightCapture stored capture-specific configuration and runtime data as mutable class-level variables rather than instance-level variables. Consequently, multiple Capture objects running within the same Python process could share state, including HTTP headers, cookies, browser storage, HTTP credentials, proxy configuration, user-agent settings, geolocation information, and captured request data.
In a multi-user or concurrent deployment, information supplied during one capture could therefore persist and be reused by a subsequent or parallel capture. This could result in the disclosure of authentication cookies, credentials, browser storage, or captured request data belonging to another user. It could also cause requests to be performed with another capture's authentication context, headers, or proxy configuration, potentially enabling unauthorized access to remote resources or interference with other capture operations.
The vulnerability is resolved by initializing all capture-specific settings and request data as instance variables in the Capture constructor, ensuring that state is isolated between capture operations. |
| HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.10, org.hl7.fhir.utilities.XsltUtilities saxonTransform(...) overloads instantiated a bare net.sf.saxon.TransformerFactoryImpl() without ACCESS_EXTERNAL_DTD or ACCESS_EXTERNAL_STYLESHEET restrictions, allowing an attacker who controls or can tamper with transformed XML to trigger XML External Entity injection for local file disclosure and blind XXE or SSRF to arbitrary URLs reachable from the host. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.10. |
| The Grav API plugin (getgrav/grav-plugin-api) before 2.0.4 contains an improper session invalidation vulnerability where JWT access tokens are issued without a jti (JWT ID) claim and therefore cannot be revoked server-side. Unlike refresh tokens, access tokens remain valid for their full lifetime (default 1 hour) regardless of logout, password change, new token issuance, or account disablement. An attacker who has stolen an access token retains full API access until the token naturally expires. |
| open-webui before 0.3.14 contains a cross-origin resource sharing misconfiguration allowing arbitrary origins with allow_origins=* and authenticated requests to the /api/v1/functions endpoint. Attackers can execute arbitrary code on the openwebui instance by crafting malicious cross-site requests from attacker-controlled websites when an admin user visits them. |
| A confused-deputy flaw in Grafana MCP Server allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to exfiltrate the server's environment-configured Grafana service-account token by supplying a crafted X-Grafana-URL request header. This also enables SSRF against arbitrary internal services, including cloud metadata endpoints. |
| ColdFusion is affected by an Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability that could result in a Security feature bypass. A high-privileged attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass security measures and gain unauthorized write access. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. |
| Adobe Experience Manager is affected by an Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference ('XXE') vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A low-privileged attacker could exploit this vulnerability to read sensitive files, potentially gaining elevated access or control over the victim's account or session. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed. |
| decompress before 4.2.2 allows arbitrary symlink creation during archive extraction. When processing symlink entries (type === 'symlink'), the x.linkname field from the archive is passed directly to fs.symlink() without validation (index.js line 121). The preventWritingThroughSymlink check on line 98 only applies to file entries, not symlink creation. An attacker can craft an archive with symlink entries pointing to sensitive files outside the extraction directory (e.g., /etc/passwd), enabling information disclosure when the application reads the extracted contents. |
