CVSS v3.1 |
| Duplicati v2.3.0.1 backup software gives Authenticated Users MODIFY permissions that propagate to all subdirectories. Installing the software outside of the Program Files directory, or on a custom path, creates a LocalSystem service running from a directory that any standard local user can write to. A standard local user can overwrite any DLL in the service directory. On service restart, the OS loads the attacker's DLL before any managed code runs, executing arbitrary code as SYSTEM. |
| Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Common Objects product of Oracle PeopleSoft (component: Security). The supported version that is affected is 9.2. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Common Objects executes to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Common Objects. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Common Objects accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 4.4 (Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N). |
| Logto bypasses OIDC nonce validation when the nonce claim is absent from the id_token, enabling replay of authentication tokens and weakening session-binding. |
| Weintek cMT3092X HMI allows a non-privileged user to modify tokens to escalate privileges. |
| oras-go is a Go library for managing OCI artifacts. Prior to 2.6.1, resolveWritePath() in content/file/file.go uses a lexical filepath.Rel check for workingDir and does not account for symlink traversal, so when AllowPathTraversalOnWrite=false an attacker-controlled blob title through ocispec.AnnotationTitle such as out/pwn.txt can follow a workingDir symlink out -> /some/outside/dir and cause pushFile() to create /some/outside/dir/pwn.txt outside workingDir. This issue is fixed in version 2.6.1. |
| mcp-gitlab contains a path traversal vulnerability in the job_id parameter of build/index.js that allows attackers to redirect GitLab API requests to arbitrary endpoints. Attackers can supply crafted job_id values like ../../../user to escape the intended path prefix and access arbitrary GitLab API resources using the operator's personal access token. |
| In Eclipse BaSyx Java Server SDK versions 2.0.0-milestone-05 to 2.0.0-milestone-12, deployments using the MongoDB backend are vulnerable to an unauthenticated arbitrary file write through the AAS thumbnail API.
The AAS thumbnail upload path accepted a client-controlled fileName request parameter and passed it through repository file handling as both a repository key and, during thumbnail retrieval, a local filesystem path. With the MongoDB file repository, the supplied filename was treated as an opaque GridFS key and was not normalized or restricted as a filesystem path. A remote attacker could upload thumbnail content using an absolute or traversal-style filename, then trigger thumbnail retrieval so that the uploaded bytes were written to the attacker-chosen path on the server filesystem.
This could allow writing files anywhere the Java process has permission to write and may lead to remote code execution. The default InMemory backend is not affected by this specific path because it normalizes and restricts file paths to its temporary directory.
The issue is fixed in Eclipse BaSyx Java Server SDK 2.0.0-milestone-13. |
| Snowflake SQLAlchemy versions prior to 1.11.0 contain several security vulnerabilities, including: Improper handling of user-supplied column identifiers in merge operations could allow SQL injection through attacker-controlled input keys. An attacker may be able to exploit this through request field names in a dynamic upsert endpoint, potentially enabling read access to data visible to the application's database role or modification of values within the same MERGE statement. Improper literal rendering of bound parameters when building certain Snowflake-specific table creation queries could allow SQL injection. An attacker may be able to exploit this by supplying a crafted string to any application endpoint that passes user-controlled data through the affected query-building API, potentially causing arbitrary data exfiltration within the scope of the connection role. Improper forwarding of connection configuration parameters could allow an attacker to cause the library to read arbitrary local files and transmit their contents to an attacker-controlled endpoint. An attacker may be able to exploit this in deployment environments that accept user-controlled connection parameters, potentially exposing sensitive files accessible to the application process. The fix is available in Snowflake SQLAlchemy version 1.11.0. Users must manually upgrade. |
| The decompress package for Node.js extracts archives. Prior to 10.2.1 and 11.1.3, archive extraction can create files and links outside the target directory. When extracting an archive to a directory, a crafted archive can read or write files outside that directory because hardlink and symlink entries are created without checking where targets point, path containment used a string prefix comparison, and file modes failed to remove setuid, setgid, or sticky bits. This issue is fixed in @xhmikosr/decompress versions 10.2.1 and 11.1.3. |
| proCertum SmartSign opens Certificate Practice Statement (CPS) URI without schema validation. An attacker can prepare arbitrary certificate with CPS URI pointing to a local executable file or any URL, sign a document with it, and send it to the victim. When the victim opens the document in the application, the specified file will be executed (or webpage will be opened).
This issue was fixed in version 9.4.3.90. |
| Data::RoaringBitmap::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl create a world-readable mmap backing file and open it without O_EXCL or O_NOFOLLOW.
The segment is created in roaring.h with open(path, O_RDWR|O_CREAT, 0666). The mode is 0666, so under the default umask 022 the file is created mode 0644 (world-readable). O_NOFOLLOW is absent, so a symlink planted at the path is followed, and O_EXCL is absent, so the open silently uses a pre-planted file instead of failing.
A "Shared" segment naturally lives in a shared directory such as /tmp or /dev/shm, where any local user can read the IPC payloads stored in the world-readable segment, and a pre-planted file or symlink at the path lets a local attacker win a pre-creation race or redirect the open. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle WebLogic Server product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Console). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0, 14.1.1.0.0, 14.1.2.0.0 and 15.1.1.0.0. | External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability in ASUS Business Manager allows a local user to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges via a tampered IPC message.
Refer to the '
Security Update for ASUS Business Manager ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| In JetBrains TeamCity before 2026.1.2 arbitrary file access was possible via the Perforce VCS integration |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iio: pressure: mpl115: fix runtime PM leak on read error
mpl115_read_raw() takes a runtime PM reference with pm_runtime_get_sync()
before reading the processed pressure or raw temperature, but on the read
error path it returns without calling pm_runtime_put_autosuspend(). Each
failed read therefore leaks a runtime PM reference and prevents the device
from autosuspending.
Drop the reference before checking the return value so both the success
and error paths are balanced. |
| Improper Restriction of Communication Channel to Intended Endpoints and External Control of File Name or Path in Aura Wallpaper Service allow a local user to perform file operations by sending crafted commands containing an arbitrary file path and bypassing the service’s path restrictions . On specific models , this can also cause a single feature to become unavailable .
Refer to the ' Security Update for Aura Wallpaper Service ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
